The Gordon Bennett Cup races have long fascinated Dieter Dressel, owner of the Central Garage museum in Bad Homburg, Germany. The 1904 Gordon Bennett Cup started from Bad Homburg. As the anniversary approached Mr. Dressel together with dr Pal Negyesi, editor of Rare & Unique Vehicles, Thomas Ulrich, a German motoring historian and other experts decided to dedicate a website to the first real racing series as a preparation for a book about the 1904 Gordon Bennett Cup. In 2024 an exhibition was held in the Central Garage museum to commemorate the 1904 Cup. The book is slightly delayed, but the website is being updated.
