John B Warden

John B Warden was born in Pittsburgh in 1865 and came from a “well-known Pennsylvania family”. In the 1900s he was involved with the Rockefellers in oil developments and shuttled between New York and France. In the 1900s he had different cars, such as Panhard, Mercedes and occassionally he took part in races. He appeared at the 1904 Gordon Bennett Cup was forced to retire. He died in an accident in 1928.
